IAPD 2017 Nominations

Nominations for Officers and Members of the 2017-2019 IAPD Board of Directors

Nominations are invited for the following positions of the IAPD Board of Directors.

• President Elect
• 2 Representatives of the Nations

According to the IAPD Constitution and By-Laws, nominations for new members of the Board of Directors may be made either by a National Member Society and supported by a second National Member Society, or may be proposed by the President of the IAPD, Board of Directors and supported by two National Member Societies.

Nominations should be made on the Association’s nomination form which can be obtained from Ms Gail Tito, the Association Coordinator at the Secretariat office: iapd@iapdworld.org.

Each nomination form should be accompanied by a letter, in which a statement is made ensuring that the nominee has sufficient knowledge of and ability to communicate in English, to contribute effectively to the work of the Board of Directors.

The President Elect shall: chair the awards Committee, attend all the Board and Council Meetings and work closely with the President and Secretary General in all matters of current and future policies and plans of the IAPD.

The Representatives of the Nations shall be appointed ex officio to at least one Standing Committee. A representative of the Nations may be assigned a specific task by the President or Secretary General.

All documentation should be sent electronically to the Secretariat by 30 June 2017.
