Fluoriders Origin Story
About Our Campaign
#Fluoriders #HappyTeethSong
One smile. One toothbrush. One Fluorider. 🪥✨
The Fluoriders campaign is an initiative of the IAPD designed to promote good oral hygiene habits in children. A “Fluorider” is any child who efficiently brushes their teeth with an age-appropriate amount of fluoride toothpaste while dancing to the Fluoriders song, making toothbrushing fun, engaging, and easy to remember.
By turning daily brushing into an enjoyable routine, the campaign raises awareness about the importance of preventing tooth decay from an early age – in a fun way!

The Fluoriders story began under the African sun in Cape Town, South Africa.
At the IAPD Congress, brave children stepped forward and danced together for the very first time.
Those children became the first Fluoriders.
What started as a joyful moment in Cape Town is now travelling across the world — from smile to smile, brush to brush.
And now, it’s your turn to join.
