Jorge L. Castillo (DDS, MdentSci, MSD, PhD), a Pediatric Dentist from the University of Connecticut and Orthodontist from the University of Washington. Also a PhD from the Peruvian University Cayetano Heredia. He is a Professor at the Department of Stomatology of Children and Adolescents, Peruvian University Cayetano Heredia (UPCH) and Affiliate Assistant Professor at the Department of Oral Health Sciences, University of Washington (UW). He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. He is also member of the Board of Directors of the UW Timothy A. DeRouen Center for Global Oral Health. He has worked extensively in collaborative programs between the UW and UPCH. He is a member of several local and international Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics Associations and also part of the editorial board of local and international journals. President of IAPD from 2013 to 2015 and other local pediatric dentistry and orthodontic associations. He has published more than 20 articles in indexed journals like Journal of Dental Research or International Journal of Pediatric Dentistry among others. He has lectured in several countries: Argentina, Bolivia, Brasil, Colombia, Chile, Ecuador, Paraguay, Uruguay, Venezuela, Mexico, United States, Canadá, Spain, Portugal, South Korea, United Arab Emirates, Taiwan and Iran.
