Symposium on Dental Treatment under Sedation and General Anesthesia
The China Regional Meeting that was held in Beijing in Nov 12 and 13, 2014 focused on the Dental Treatment under Sedation and General Anesthesia.
Dr. Eduardo Alcaino, the Immediate Past President of IAPD, gave a lecture on “Sedation in Paediatric Dentistry: a global perspective”. Invited expert Prof. Keira Park Mason lectured on “Dental Sedation: Improving Outcome by Establishing a New Culture of Safety”. More than 200 Chinese delegates from 27 provinces attended the meeting, among whom 123 are new IAPD members. Through this meeting, a closer relationship was built between the Chinese Society of Pediatric Dentistry and the International Association of Pediatric Dentistry.
