7 February 2024 – Caution: Protect Yourself from Phishing
Recently, there has been a surge in phishing emails impersonating IAPD Board members and Executives. In a concerning trend, such phishing attempts are not unique and have been observed across numerous non-profit societies. The public availability of board members’ names on society websites makes them particularly vulnerable targets. These fraudulent messages aim to deceive you into sharing sensitive information.
To protect yourself:
Your vigilance is crucial in safeguarding your information and our community’s security. Remember, we never request sensitive data via email.
Thank you for your ongoing support of the IAPD.
