The Global Voice for Children's Oral Health

Since October last year the members of the IAPD standing committees worked intensely and the President and Secretary General would like to extend a heartfelt thank you on behalf o the IAPD.

Our Science Committee has prepared eight consensus papers on the 
main topics in paediatric dentistry in 2020 and is preparing another twelve recommendations to be launched in the coming months. 

The Education Committee conducted IAPD webinars between April and August 2020. Moreover, the Education Committee has already elaborated a Questionnaire about Paediatric Dentistry Curriculum and has collected data from many different countries all over the world. 

Our dedicated committees prepared a series of infographics to support parents during the pandemic. The infographic project was a great success and the infographic dealing with the need to keep a healthy diet was translated into seventeen languages.

The Membership Committee has been in touch with National Member Societies to keep them updated about IAPD matters and to promote National Society Membership among countries all over the world that have the potential to become new IAPD members.

Public Relations Committee had an important role during the development of the IAPD’s new website and they have been working hard to launch the Young Network. 

All of this could only be achieved because of each one of the hard-working committee members their valuable contribution during the past year. 

IAPD continues to strive and achieve our mission: Making the global voice for children’s oral health strong and heard all over the world.
