The IAPD Consensus Recommendations on Restorative Dentistry in Children highlight a range of evidence-based options, including atraumatic restorative treatment (ART), glass ionomer materials, preformed metal crowns, and zirconia crowns. The recommendations also emphasise careful clinical judgement, recognising both the benefits and potential risks of restorative care.
