Osaka 2027 Global Participation Travel Bursary

Osaka 2027 Global Participation Bursary

The Osaka 2027 Global Participation Bursary is a special initiative of the Local Organising Committee (LOC) of the 31st IAPD Congress, taking place from 2–5 June 2027 in Osaka, Japan.

Established exclusively for Osaka 2027, this bursary aims to support young paediatric dentists, postgraduate students, residents and early-career professionals from economically disadvantaged countries, helping them participate in the Congress and share their scientific work with the international paediatric dentistry community.

The initiative seeks to encourage scientific exchange, promote geographical diversity and support the next generation of leaders in paediatric dentistry.

The IAPD sincerely thanks the Japanese Society of Paediatric Dentistry (JSPD) for its generous support in making the Osaka 2027 Global Participation Bursary possible.

Approximately 20 bursaries will be allocated. The final number of bursaries and total amount awarded may vary depending on the geographical distribution of successful applicants.

Successful applicants will receive:

  • Complimentary registration for the 31st IAPD Congress Osaka 2027.

  • Financial support towards travel and accommodation, based on their country or region of origin.
