🌐Spotlight on IAPD Consensus Recommendations
This month, we’re shining a spotlight on the Consensus Recommendation on Ethical Considerations in Paediatric Dentistry.
Ethics guide how we relate to and behave towards one another as human beings. In paediatric dentistry, ethical principles must underpin all aspects of our decision-making and patient management. The four key principles of ethics; autonomy, beneficence, non-maleficence, and justice, should form the foundation of every clinical action.
Ethical practice not only protects our young patients—it strengthens trust, professionalism, and the quality of care across our discipline.
