Updated IAPD Consensus Recommendations 2022 – Available Now

We are delighted to announce the latest IAPD Consensus Recommendations are now available on the IAPD’s Website. This is a free resource, brought to you by the IAPD Science Committee.

What changed?

Each IAPD Consensus-based Recommendation or Statement was evaluated to determine the quality of evidence and the applicability to global clinical practices. Quality of evidence was based on the assessment of the Science Committee members regarding whether the statements were based on expert opinion, high quality clinical trials, or clinic practice guidelines.  Applicability to clinic practice was determined by seventy-nine IAPD members, distributed internationally, that rated the recommendations using a 9-point Likert Scale, from strongly disagree to strongly agree. The agreement (moderately/mostly/strongly agree) reflects concordance between the consensus-based statement/recommendation and current global practices.

Translations of the latest documents will be available soon!
