The 4th Global IAPD Summit will bring the paediatric dentistry community to Barcelona, Spain, from 13–15 November 2026—but the scientific programme is only part of what makes this year’s event so special.

Remarkably, 2026 marks the anticipated completion of the basilica’s central tower, coinciding with the centenary of Gaudí’s death and bringing to fruition a vision that has been over 140 years in the making.

The International Association of Paediatric Dentistry (IAPD) is pleased to invite eligible researchers from developing countries to apply for the prestigious Japanese Society of Pediatric Dentistry (JSPD) Travel Award.
Supported by the Japanese Society of Pediatric Dentistry, this award offers an exciting opportunity to present your work at the 4th Global IAPD Summit, taking place in Barcelona, Spain, from 13–15 November 2026.
Up to two awards will be presented to outstanding early-career investigators whose research contributes to the advancement of paediatric dentistry and child oral health. Whether you are a postgraduate student, postdoctoral researcher, or clinician actively involved in research, this is your opportunity to showcase your work on an international stage, connect with global experts, and become part of the conversations shaping the future of paediatric dentistry.
