This month, we’re shining a spotlight on the Consensus Recommendation on Pharmacologic management of acute dental pain in children under 12 years of age.
The recommendations support clinicians, patients, and caregivers in choosing the most appropriate use of analgesics for:
Postoperative pain following simple or surgical tooth extractions, and
Temporary pain relief when definitive dental treatment is not immediately available (e.g., toothache due to pulpitis, periapical disease, or acute abscess).
😃 Look out for our “Colgate Bright Smiles, Bright Futures” featured area in the IAPD monthly E-news! This month we highlight an Exciting Project by Inger Wennhall, BSBF Winner 2007.
