In Memory of Moises Fuks, a Cherished Supporter of the IAPD Family

It is with deep sorrow that we share the news of Moises Fuks’s passing in February 2024. Our thoughts are with the Fuks family as they navigate through the loss of a remarkable individual.

Moises was an exceptional supporter of the IAPD family, and his presence at every congress brought joy to those fortunate enough to encounter him. His contributions left an unforgettable mark on our community, and the light he brought to IAPD events will be remembered fondly.

May the memory of Moises serve as a source of comfort and may the positive energy he shared with us continue to resonate within the IAPD community.

🌐Spotlight on IAPD Consensus Recommendations

This month, we highlight an important IAPD Consensus Recommendation: Ethical Considerations in Paediatric Dentistry: Foundational Articles and Recommendations.

Ethics are crucial in guiding human conduct. Within the context of paediatric patient management, adherence to four fundamental principles—autonomy, beneficence, non-maleficence, and justice—is imperative. These principles serve as the ethical framework governing decision-making processes, ensuring that considerations of respect for patients’ autonomy, promotion of their well-being, avoidance of harm, and fair allocation of resources are central to all aspects of care.

Embrace Ethical Considerations in Paediatric Dentistry! Access the Full Document to stay aligned with global paediatric dentistry goals.

This is a free resource developed by the IAPD Science Committee, available in English, French, Spanish and Italian!
